Level 3 Award in the Safe Use of Mechanical Restraints
The 1 day programme covers the law and legislation surrounding the use of mechanical restraints and teaches learners the safe and effective application and use of mechanical restraints.
Entry requirements
To register for this qualification, learners must be 18+. It is also recommended that learners have a basic level of English and numeracy skills before enrolling onto this course.
As part of the entry requirements learners should have current recognised applicable physical skills e.g. physical intervention or control and restraint.
Guidance on assessment
This programme is assessed through an open response assessment and a practical assessment which is marked by the tutor and moderated by the Awarding Body.
