Description
The Highfield Level 3 Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training (RQF) has been developed to meet the requirements of trainers who wish to deliver scenario-based conflict management training.
The objective of the qualification is to:
- Support a role in the workplace for those who deliver scenario-based conflict management training; and
- provide learners with personal growth and engagement in learning.
The qualification is suitable for delivery across a wide range of sectors and is of benefit to those delivering training in a customer-facing role. The qualification also meets the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for those delivering the licence to practice qualifications, which include scenario-based conflict management training.
Entry requirements
To register for this qualification, learners are required to meet the following entry requirements:
- must be aged 18 and over;
- hold a suitable teaching/training qualification (or recognised equivalent) for example: – Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF or equivalent) – Level 3 or 4 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Evidence of the learner’s teaching/training qualification should be auditable and available for external quality assurance monitoring.
It is advised that learners have a minimum of level 2 in literacy
The total qualification time for this qualification is 43-hours and of this 32-hours is recommended as guided learning.
Guidance on assessment
This qualification is assessed through a 1 hour multiple-choice examination where Learners must achieve a score of at least 20 out of 30 to pass. The Delivering Scenario-Based Conflict Management Training unit portfolio of evidence will be internally quality assured by the centre and externally quality assured by Highfield.
